Scentsy Story
The summer of 2009 was when I had first heard of a "wickless" candle and the company named Scentsy. The opportunity kind of fell in my lap while visiting the dentist for my boys' regular checkup. While waiting on my boys to get their teeth cleaned a friend of mine who worked there handed me a "basket" party that was filled with samples of scented wax and said "here, smell these". After getting a little overwhelmed by the multitude of different scents and glancing through the catalog I placed my order with her party. Once we got home I couldn't stop talking about this amazing product! My husband had been on yet another temporary shut down at work and was collecting unemployment so I thought maybe this was what I could do to help pay some bills. I had a addiction to candles so I knew this was the company for me. I joined before even getting my first warmer! Since then I have been blessed by this company in more ways than one. I have made many lifelong friends, been inspired to do things I have never done before, learned how to step out of my comfort zone and speak to perfect strangers, and also earned an all expense paid tropical vacation to Punta Cana! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that a little wickless candle could change my life so much! I LOVE this company and everything it stands for.
